Audience Feedback

Why is audience feedback essential?

Audience feedback is key in the media, they can react on the feedback from their target audience allowing them to unknowingly improve your film. The audience bring in the revenue and make a film creators work credible, it is also what makes a film popular or not, the more people that enjoy a film the more the messege of it gets spread. The aim of an editor/director/producer is to please their audience. The audience is the reason for making a film, and if your work is not pleasing them, who else to tell you what to change than the people watching your film. This will all come under constructive criticism.

Where did you screen your production?

We screened our thriller production on youtube. This site allows anyone to view your product and is great for user comments. The comments will not be biased as are from complete strangers and you can get constructive and useful comments from people you did not intend the film to be for. This site allows you to get a wide range of responses from all over the world allowing a montage of  different and constructive comments.

How did youtube help ?

youtube gave us quick feedback so we could carry out the required changes in time for the remarking of our thriller. A wide range of professionals view youtube videos as well and they could have given us feedback to make it better also.

The feedback we received

We got a mixed

light sound colors length

Group Meetings

What is the purpose of group meetings?

I think that it helps the group understand all the opinions given from each person and help the others see where every group member is coming from. They help stabilise the group and review what we have done and what we can improve on.

Do you think your group worked well together?

Week one
Met to discuss narrative and possible location me, Arthur, Orçun. Talked about potable camera shots while thinking of the conventions. Decided on location and date to start filming (oct 26).

Week two
Met a day before filming to arrange the mise to save time next day. Me, Sam. Arthur and Orçun discussed editing techniques we could use. Started filming.

Week three
Relocated the thriller as felt could be better. This delayed things as we had to edit the narrative and shots used. Thought additional actress was needed so started looking. We all changed ideas about costume so Arthur and Orçun searched for a mask.

Week four
Got mask and other actress, started filming. All were their. Didn't get a lot done but finalised the camera shots for the first 3rd of the production. Filmed first scene, came up with idea for dream.

Week five
Half way through film now, Sam unavailable so just us four. Deadline is closing and we're a bit behind time. Filming slows as disagreement over shots in the kitchen.

Week six
Thriller filmed but not edited. Behind time and rushing to complete by the deadline. All working to Finnish In time. I organised pictures I took of us working over the whole time ready for my presentation on it all.
